BORN JUNE 30th 1861, DIED JAN. 2th 1904
HE SERVED HIS COUNTRY IN THE CAMPAIGNS IN
EGYPT 1883-5, SOUTH AFRICA 1899-02:
ASSISTING IN THE DEFENCE OF LADYSMITH.
A GALLANT SOLDIER, A STAUNCH FRIEND, A DEAR BROTHER.
